The FD Series of Analogue Fruit Hardness Testers are used to test Apple, Pear, Apricot, Strawberries etc. Fruit Hardness can be determined for storage, transportation by Fruit Farms, and Grocery Stores. Fruit firmness is the pressure of spring per unit area: P=N/S
(1) P is measured fruit hardness value 100,000 Pa or kg/cm².
(2) N is the spring pressure of the force measuring Newton or kilograms of force at the fruit surface.
(3) S refers to the fruit force area square meters or square centimeters.

FD-1 Analogue Large Fruit, firm/hard Fruit tip 3.5mm diameter.
FD-2 Analogue Small Fruit, soft Fruit tip 3.5mm diameter.
FD-3 Analogue Dual Range allows measuring of general Fruit firmness. Ideal for Apples, Peaches, Pears, Avocado, Kiwi, and Tomatoes. The unique dual display is easy to measure the firmness of nearly all Fruits.
